Black History Guardians: June is Black Music Month!

#blackmusicmonth ❤ The Fisk Jubilee Singers introduced the Negro spiritual tradition to the world as an American musical art form and became the first African American choir to perform at the White House. Their rendition of "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" moved US President Chester Arthur (1829 - 1886) to tears. ❤ #blackhistoryguardians
