🎉Celebrating Inventor and Data Scientist, Valerie Thomas (1943)!


In 1964, Valerie Thomas (1943) graduated from Morgan University with a degree in Physics. Later, she became a distinguished member of NASA’s team. While there, she held many leadership positions including associate chief of the Space Data Operations Office. Her invention, the illusion transmitter (patented in 1980), is used in many electrical devices, including televisions and surgical instruments.
